Shelters
The Center Against Domestic Violence opened the first publicly funded domestic violence shelter in New York State in 1977. Since then we have expanded to three full service shelters that provide sanctuary for 1000 victims of domestic abuse each year. Read More » -

The Center Against Domestic Violence was the first organization in New York to offer a program to prevent teen relationship abuse. Today we are the premier provider of this year-round service, teaching tens of thousands of students at twelve high schools about healthy relationships. Read More » -
